If like me you are constantly wanting to re-arrange, re-decorate and simply evolve the space you live in, it can become a rather expensive pursuit.
To breathe new life into a room however, one does not need to break the bank.
Lighting is such an integral part in a room, to create the right ambience or even to be a focal point with an extravagant light fitting, but it also does not need to be over the top to be an effective decor touch.
We have been experimenting with the humble lampshade to make it a central point for a room and provide a subtle hint of a decor theme.
By combining luxurious Velvet fabric for the outer lampshade with carefully selected Hertex prints for the inner shade, we have created a playful lighting solution which helps create the thread to style the room.
Through a process of trial and error with my ladies in Woodstock we have managed to get the quality to where I am happy to be able to provide these pieces for sale. Handmade, handcrafted in Cape Town.
I am also more than happy to take specific commissions, if you are looking for a specific colour or pattern, we can make it happen.
We currently have one standard size at 28cm by 25cm but will be adding larger versions in the near future.
